ridiculous royalty au

I really really like princess/knight dynamics (☉‿☉✿)

I had a really dumb au planned out with this which basically goes like this: it's Fakir's first day on the job for the royal family and wowie he hates being stuck in one place and he hates being a service knight but he also needs this money like super bad so he sucks it up and signs a contract with the king!! He just arrived to the castle and hasn't meet anyone yet, and he kind of figures 'hey maybe I should be kind of nice for the first day so they don't kick me out right away I can do that right' so when he sees the youngest princess trip and fall he thinks 'i'm gonna go help that lady out'. Except Ahiru didn't know her parents had contracted a knight so when some REALLY ATTRACTIVE STRANGER TRIES TO HELP HER UP SHE FREAKS and then probably punches him in the stomach and then runs away to Rue's room to hide and cry to her older sister about this big scary man roaming around the castle and Fakir is super grumpy for the rest of the day but still manages to keep his job somehow

(but now he's completely lost any professionalism he might have once had)

(every time he sees Ahiru and no one else is around he sticks his tongue out at her because he knows she'll stick her tongue right back at him and won't tell her parents)

(he is an adult)
